Morzine-Avoriaz is a fantastic winter destination as it offers so many things to do, both on and off the slopes. On the piste, it’s not just all about skiing and snowboarding, but snowshoeing, nocturnal sledging, snow scooters, Nordic walking… Off the slopes, après-ski beckons in the great bars and restaurants of Morzine, but so does swimming, indoor and outdoor ice-skating, paragliding and relaxation in a wonderful spa. So much to do, so little time…
Tandem paraglide over the snowtopped mountains of Morzine-Avoriaz and appreciate the best of the French Alps, from the sky. The bird’s eye views are truly breathtaking and an opportunity not to be missed!
Go up the main Morzine Pleney cable car and sledge down the closed ski slopes in the dark, with a headlamp. Sounds mad but brilliant fun!

Experience the mountain from another angle and enjoy the quieter untracked pistes, with fantastic, unspoilt views. Have lunch in a mountain refuge off the beaten track and get to see the real rugged mountain landscape. A fun activity to do with the children too!
Opening in December 2011, the new complex will have:
So it will be a great place to relax after a hard day’s skiing or just a great excuse for an afternoon off.
An ideal activity to have fun with all the family.
Large choice of trips around Morzine and the old town; all starting from the tourist office. A definite winner with the children.

Need to have muscles unknotted or physiotherapy treatment on an old sports injury. Or maybe you would just like a relaxing aromatherapy massage, but prefer to stay in the comfort of the chalet, then you can. Morzine has an English mobile physiotherapist, Sarah, sports masseuse, Beverley or beautician, Magali, who can pop round to the chalet, at your convenience, without you having to step outside into the snow. Always best, however, to book in advance.
